This is a great opportunity for seasoned EMTs interested in contract work.
Pay starts at $21/hr.
EMT Duties/
Responsibilities:
Drive the mobile intensive care unit safely and proficiently to a specified location, following instructions from the emergency medical dispatcher.
Administer first aid treatment or basic life support care to sick or injured persons in prehospital settings.
Comfort and reassure patients.
Complying with applicable policies and procedures, SOPs, and medical protocols.
Completing patient care reports and other documentation.
Communicate with dispatchers or treatment center personnel to provide information about the situation or to receive instructions for further treatment.
Coordinate work with other emergency medical team members or police or fire department personnel.
Maintaining vehicles, stations, and communication and medical equipment.
Decontaminate the ambulance interior following the treatment of a patient with an infectious disease, and report the case to the proper authorities.

Opportunity to pick up overtime shifts on OFF hours depending on availability Biweekly pay schedule You will be assisting a private EMS company doing inter-facility transfers and responding to 911 calls Call volume:

IFTs average 1.

5 hours.
Lodging Provided Required Skills:
Texas and Arkansas EMT license (Locals preferred) BLS Certification required At Least 3 years of experience with IFTs or 911 At least 3 years of experience driving an ambulance Job Type:
